Long Road Ahead: Updating the County LEOP

Hello, all!

Sam here!

Ron and I have embarked on the first steps of reviewing and updating the Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP)! During this process, we reach out to first responder agencies, local businesses, stakeholders, volunteer organizations, and more to help flesh out the plan which immediately goes into effect when large-scale emergencies hit!

You can find the public version of the plan we are working on here.

The very first step we complete is gathering all of the new contact information for the Camden County LEOP Contact List. While this list is not in the public plan, it is VITALLY important for us to have on hand when said large-scale emergencies come to our county. We are pleased to say that MANY local first responding agencies and businesses have already answered our email requesting updated contact information! Thank you to all of those agencies and businesses; you definitely make our jobs easier!

We’ll update you on our progress on the LEOP as we move through all of the sections, so stay tuned!
