We’re working hard to fill the position of Deputy Director! We’ve completed the first round of interviews and we’re moving certain individuals forward to the second stage of the process. It will take a week or two to complete the next stage and then we hope to give our new Deputy Director some time to learn their way around the office, meet our first responders, government, private industry, CERT and other NGOs, and other partners so they can hit the ground running!
While we’re excited to have such amazing applicants for our open position, there’s only one position available, so there may be a few disappointed applicants. We appreciate all of the effort our applicants have put forth and we’ve been honored to meet such fantastic individuals!

I hold a general class amateur radio license, call sign KE0LMY. I am also the official "Bee Keeper" of our mascot, Buzzer the Bee, who wants you to BEE Prepared!!!
I'm a certified CERT trainer and WebEOC trainer for the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency.
I maintain an EXTENSIVE and ever-growing list of credentials and train vigorously with first responder agencies, other EMAs, and with anyone I believe will help me become a better, more well-rounded emergency management director.
