As discussed in CERT’s Blog, the Camden County EMA and Camden County CERT will host a joint training/exercise on the two Homeland Security generators housed at the Camden County EMA.
This training is open to ALL First Responder agencies, Road and Bridge employees, and all CERT members. This is considered a high-priority training and we ask that all those who may work with the generators attend if able.
Training will be held on November 2, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Camden County EMA located at 12 VFW Rd. Camdenton, MO 65020. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, as you may be on, around, and under this equipment. Safety is our number one priority. The training is being brought to you by Norton Power Systems (NPS) who also oversees the generators for the jail and courthouse.
If this training is successful and we have the need to schedule additional dates to accommodate more individuals who need the training, we will be happy to do so!
Thank you to all agencies who participate in advance!
