Most of you already know how active the Camden County EMA is when it comes to training with the volunteers of the Camden County, MO Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Tonight, we are hosting our annual Emergency Communications (Em Comm) training via WebEx so we can train in tandem with the Benton County CERT and ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) groups.
This training teaches CERT members who may have NEVER spoken on radios before (nor received formal training) to relay important information back to the CERT Incident Command on scenes and/or back to the Camden (or Benton!) County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in case of a large-scale emergency to which the CERT has been deployed.
