When severe weather or other emergencies strike, the effects can be widespread and may result in injury or death. That’s why its important to stay up to date with emergency notifications offered by trusted, local and national authorities. In Camden, we use Nixle system to notify the public. These are used based on the severity and scale of the emergency.
Can we find you...Do we know where your shelter is?
Make sure your 911 address is clearly visible...it will save some response time, especially in a medical emergency!
CONFIDENTIALLY register your shelter with the EMA. It will help us find you should a disaster hit. This information will not be shared unless there is an emergency where we need to find you.
